摘要：现代汉语中有很多词，它是汉语里原有的词，但用它来翻译某个外文词后，我们逐渐不再在它原有的意义上使用它们，而主要在它用来对译的外文词的意义使用它，这些词原有的意义反而被掩盖了。例如革命、经济、经验、社会、民主、专制、事实、理论、作用。这样的词加上近代专门为了翻译外语词新造出来词，我统称为“移植词”。在论理的场合，大部分现代汉语语汇都是移植词。本文旨在引起人们注意移植词对当代中国哲学的可能影响。 Chinese vocabulary now contains a special kind of words: they were Chinese words in the past, but now they have lost what they used to mean and become Chinese versions of foreign words they have been used to translate. I call these words, plus the words coined solely for the purpose to translate foreign words, “transplanted words” Most of the words we are using in theoretic discourse today are transplanted words.
